Bridging Finance
If you're in chain and may not be able to make a simultaneous completion on both properties there are a number of options available to you, one of which is bridging finance or a bridging loan. A bridging loan is a short term loan which provides funds to complete the purchase on the new property prior to the existing property sale completing.
